Eijffinger have bought out 6 fabulous new collections over 2011, below is a brief description of each.
Pip 2011 –
This Wallpaper collection which has been created in close cooperation with
Suzani –
The name Suzani originates from the word SUZAN, meaning embroidery. This recognizable needlework technique started in Middle Asia. The choice of colours, the patterns and the selected materials in combination with the SUZAN embroidery technique resulted in splendidly designed fabrics. Eijffinger transformed this style to give it a contemporary look. Blue and taupe shades create serenity, while colourful designs like trees, ornamental flowers and embroidered circles are elaborated in new trend colours like ochre and rust. The use of a special printing technique creates the illusion of woven embroidery on the wall paper.
Zircon –
Zircon is a collection in which several dramatic designs are elaborated in a tight and modern style. Stripe designs are overlaid upon each other like layers of the earth; the largest medallion is inspired by precious stones and minerals and by the use of shadow effects the medallion seems to rise above the background. Dry matte colours, suede printing and a mica finish take turns to result in a continuous tension between the elements. This interaction in combination with colours like chocolate brown, wool-white to deep carmine create the striking appearance of this stylish wallpaper collection.
Club –
Inspired by holographic effects, mirrors and bubbles, Club will definitely bring glamour into your interior. Whether it be in a restaurant, hotel, club or bar, these eclectic effects combined with 3D designs are sure to grab attention. Featured in a range of colours from fuchsia, black and yellow, to several popular greys and silvers.
Grand Gala –
Replacing the 2005 version of Grand Gala, this new take features large ornaments, baroque designs, flowers and sturdy stripes. Colours range from fresh green, funky fuchsia and rattling red to sturdy greys and black combinations to subtle pastels. All designs in the Grand Gala collection are vinyl wallcoverings making them extra washable.
Look out for the co-ordinating Eijffinger fabric, Tamarit.
Un Bisou –
Un Bisou was created from the inspiration of an ‘artistic Parisian life’. Featuring romantic roses, magnificent magnolias and a picturesque Robin Redbreast inspired bird. Combine these wallcoverings with the fabrics of June and Sparrow. Also look out for the stunning murals featured in Un Bisou – wonderful large roses and breathtaking blossoms.
