Verve Designer Collections purchase of Harris and Nugent Fabrics

Colin Durbidge and his team, together with Jim Waddington, of H&N, and his family, are pleased to announce the purchase of Harris and Nugent Fabrics by Verve Designer Collections, effective 1st July 2010.

The purchase creates a substantial increase in the size of choice offered in the Verve range. You will now be able to choose from an even greater range that includes contemporary fabrics and wallpapers — featuring bold prints and designs as well as traditional English florals, stripes or embroidery.

Verve Designer Collections will now be distributing the following indent lines:

• Carole Fabrics (faux silks, antique satin solids, subtle textures and co-ordinated jacquards)
• Hardy (plain and woven fabrics; top quality printed designs)
• James Brindley (exquisite hand-printed and embroidered silks)
• Joanne (faux silks, jacquards and embroideries)
• Blendworth (classic English designs with complementary plains)
• Tapestria (high fashion, traditional and contemporary designs)

Plus two exciting new brands to be released shortly:

• James Hare (exclusively designed luxurious silks) and
• Chella (luxury outdoor fabrics)

The purchase of Harris and Nugent fabrics enables you to view a large cross-section one place...giving you more design and creative options than ever...from a single source dedicated to your needs.

There will be no changes made to the pricing of product.

Colin will continue to work closely with Jim, Sandra and Michael over the next two years to ensure that the new additions will continue to provide the high quality fabric choices you expect.

New Sydney and Brisbane Showrooms

Verve Designer Collections are pleased to announce our Syndey and Brisbane agents have recently moved into new showrooms.

Garner Agencies have moved showrooms to Paddington NSW; and are now amongst all of the well known fabric houses.

Fusion Design Agencies have moved just in next door to their previous showroom in Newstead. Their new showroom is 50% larger, has beautiful high ceilings and a fabulous open plan floor space.
